Zordix is a fast-growing gaming company founded in Sweden in 2008. The company is currently headquartered in Umeå and operates in an international arena. Zordix is a multinational developer and publisher dedicated to providing the global gaming market with leading innovation, technology and creative ambition through a growing family of brands. Through strategic acquisitions, the leveraging of its global infrastructure and a constant search for inspiring games to bring to market, Zordix continues to scale with the growing gaming industry.

Zordix’s strategy is to grow both through acquisition and organically within its subsidiaries. Since the company’s listing in 2018, Zordix has acquired companies in Hungary, France, the UK, the US and Swedish studio Dimfrost. Zordix’s pro forma 2021 turnover was approximately SEK 1.25 billion.

Zordix Group currently has approximately 200 employees worldwide.

Background

When organizations grow rapidly, including through acquisitions, questions often arise about organizational structure. Zordix was on a journey of change and growth and wanted the organisation to evolve in line with the progression. To strengthen the organisation, they needed expertise in organisational development and engaged Sweden HR group to help with structure, process and implementation to get the organisation on the right track in the growth phase. Zordix also wanted to formalize operational HR processes to strengthen the business from within.

Solution & Results

Sweden HR group has, among other things, conducted a so-called HR audit – where we have identified and recommended development actions regarding HR administrative procedures and ensured compliance in the HR area in Sweden. This to ensure continued successful growth. We have also led an HR strategic organisational development project, which has included optimizing the organisation following acquisitions. This has been done in close cooperation with the management team.
