Babyshop Group is an online retailer in the children’s clothing and children’s products category that was founded in 2006. The group incorporates the brands Babyshop.com, Lekmer.se, Alexandraalexa.com, Oiidesign.se, Melijoe.com, and physical stores in Sweden and Norway. The group has a turnover of roughly SEK 1 billion and around 300 employees.

 

Background

In connection with a major reorganisation of senior positions, Babyshop Group needed to quickly initiate and run a number of operational and strategic HR initiatives. It also needed help leading the existing HR team and acting as HR support to the CEO and management.

 

Solutions & Results

Sweden HR group is helping to lay the foundations for a new HR function as part of the extensive culture and change journey that Babyshop finds itself on. Sweden HR group will also shadow the new internal HR manager for a period during the handover process, to ensure the best possible starting point for the new internal HR team.

The solution is allowing Babyshop Group to maintain a high tempo at a time of significant change. At the same time, it is able to quickly tap into HR expertise in both the operational and the strategic areas.
