When ByggVesta chose to outsource its HR function to Sweden HR Group, the objective was clear: to gain access to a complete HR function without having to build it internally. Through our team-based way of working, the organization benefits from both strategic HR expertise close to the management team and efficient operational support in day-to-day HR activities.

Background

The assignment with ByggVesta began in 2023. The company was growing, and at the same time the need for structure, compliance, and strategic HR work increased. There was also a desire for flexibility and access to broad HR expertise—without having to build a full HR function internally.

 

Assignment

Sweden HR Group was tasked with taking overall responsibility for HR through outsourcing, with a focus on both strategic and operational work, tailored to ByggVesta’s needs and stage of development.

 

Solution – HR outsourcing

Through HR outsourcing, ByggVesta gains access to the right HR expertise based on the organization’s current needs. This setup creates a flexibility that is often difficult to achieve in a traditional employment model, where support can easily be scaled up during more intensive periods and scaled down when the need decreases.

For ByggVesta this means, among other things, that:

  • Strategic HR expertise is closely integrated with the management team, providing support in areas such as organizational development, leadership, employment law decisions, and long-term talent supply.
  • Operational HR tasks are handled in parallel, including personnel administration, employment law matters, policy development, day-to-day support for managers, and ongoing HR processes.
  • Support with payroll coordination.
  • Multiple HR consultants can work simultaneously on different matters, ensuring quality and continuity.
  • The work is scalable and continuously adapted to the organization’s needs.

Current Status

The collaboration continues on an ongoing basis, with Sweden HR Group acting as ByggVesta’s external HR function and strategic HR partner.

What made you choose Sweden HR Group as a partner?

I first came into contact with Sweden HR Group when I met their then CEO about six years ago. Early on, I developed a strong trust in both their expertise and their way of working, which led me to bring them in as a partner at my previous employer.
