Applicon is a tech company that collaborates with banks and financial institutions in the Nordic region. Their employees have vast experience in banking, finance, and business processes, management, system development, implementation of standard systems, and the adaption of international banking systems. Applicon has a turnover of approximately SEK 109 million and currently employs 50 people.

Background

In order to support their change and growth journey Applicon has experienced a need to initiate and drive a number of strategic and operational HR initiatives. Applicon realized that they didn’t have the right competence in house and decided to outsource their HR department to Sweden HR group in order to get the appropriate support and enable a successful delivery on the chosen initiatives.

 

Solutions & Results

Sweden HR group focused on delivering business-oriented HR to assist Applicon in setting their new HR strategy and operations. A number of HR processes and activities anchored in the business objectives were set and delivered. The solution enables Applicon to maintain a fast pace in a time of strong change by allowing quick access to strategic and operational HR expertise.

  • Conducted training in labour law and occupational health and safety to strengthen the competence of the business. 
  • Developed a recruitment process tailored to the business and trained managers on how to recruit effectively.
